The comprehensive program will cover presentations and discussions on a wide range of aspects related to designs. The two-morning virtual IP Seminar on Designs: Navigating the Realm of Design Protection from a User’s Perspective is aimed at those who want to learn more about bringing new products (and designs) to the market. The first morning will focus on the protection of designs in the marketplace, with speakers from design associations (BEDA), industries (EFIC) and academic world (design schools). The second morning will be more practical and will present the different strategies and options for product launches and design protection. In addition, the IP Seminar will include a roundtable session on digital design with case studies, as well as a relevant and up-to-date focus on Metaverse products and AI-generated designs.

The objective of the IP Seminars is to provide training and a platform for knowledge sharing on specific IP issues for staff of EU and non-EU IP offices as well as representatives of user associations, and representatives from PES universities.
