    This webinar takes a look back over the history of the convergence of trade mark and design practices in the EU and examines the impact on the IP landscape. In particular, it provides an overview of:

    - the background, vision and objectives of the convergence of trade mark and design practices;

    - how the Common Practices are developed;

    - the Common Practices that have been delivered and implemented to date by the EUIPO and the Member States IP Offices;

    - the new Common Practices under development; and  

    - the benefits of harmonised European guidelines.
