  • This webinar present an account of the Convergence program (CP) 3. The objective of this program is to establish a common practice in relation to when figurative marks containing descriptive/non-descriptive words passes the threshold of minimal degree of distinctive character due to characteristics of the figurative mark. Based on fictitious examples, the webinar presents a range of criteria, e.g. 1) typeface, font, combination with colour(s),  punctuation and position of verbal elements, 2) geometric shape, position, proportion, similarity with the goods & services of figurative elements.
