Kick-off meeting: Research on Legislative Measures Related to Online Infringements (Phase 2
The European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights is holding an online meeting on 7th and 8th May with the experts participating in the Research on Legislative Measures Related to Online Infringements (Phase 2) study. The EUIPO commissioned the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) to carry out the study.
The purpose of this study is to identify legislative measures related to international judicial cooperation in cases of online IPR infringements, and to understand the potential benefits and shortcomings in implementing and applying these measures. The meeting will involve the research team from UNICRI, members of the Observatory Legal Expert Group and of the European Intellectual Property Prosecutors Network (EIPPN).
