The State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) has published Practice Paper: Likelihood of confusion (impact of non-distinctive/weak components) relative grounds of refusal.
The Executive Director of the EUIPO, Christian Archambeau, has met the President of the European Business Registry Association (EBRA) and Director General of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH), Antti Riivari, via video-link. The Deputy Executive Director of the EUIPO, Andrea Di Carlo, and the Director of the EUIPO’s Customer Department, Inge Buffolo, also attended the meeting.
On 18 November 2020 and 22 December 2020, under the framework of the European Cooperation Project (ECP8) ‘European Network of Authenticities’, the municipalities of Sofia and Plovdiv became the first certified Bulgarian ‘Authenticities’.
The new Decision of the Executive Director on the technical requirements for annexes submitted on data carriers No EX-20-10, repeals previous Decision EX-17-6. This new decision was signed on 22nd December 2020 however it has a later date of entry into force, namely 1st March 2021.
