Observatory Working Groups meet in Brussels


The Observatory will be holding a series of Working Group meetings from 28 to 30 November in Brussels.

The European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights will be holding a series of Working Group meetings from 28 to 30 November in Brussels.

The meetings will involve Observatory public and private sector representatives, the European Commission services and the European Parliament, as well as representatives from civil society.

During the week, participants will be exploring the themes of Enforcement; Public Awareness; IP in the Digital World; Legal and International and; Economics and Statistics.

A first meeting of the Expert Group on Anti-counterfeiting Technology will also take place in Brussels on 29 November, where participants will discuss the use of tools and devices to empower law enforcers and brand owners in the detection of fake goods.
