Virtual judges’ seminar on trade marks
In follow up to the first judges’ seminar which took place virtually in Lisbon on 15 and 16 April 2020 with some 45 judges and prosecutors originating from around 15 countries, another seminar on new trade mark features takes place on 16 and 17 June 2020, with 90 judges and prosecutors from 23 countries.
The seminar provides national judges and prosecutors who deal with civil and criminal aspects of intellectual property rights the possibility to network with other European colleagues. This seminar will familiarise the participants with recently added features of trade marks.
As the conference is designed to be practice-oriented and focused on peer and expert training, group workshops will be held in a further event in Alicante once life has returned to normal.
The judges’ seminar is a regular feature on the EUIPO calendar. It brings together specialist IP judges and prosecutors from across the EU offering a platform for dynamic debate and information exchange in a confidential environment, as well as providing the latest updates on case law and practice.
