EUIPO Image search solution will further increase usefulness of the flagship tool.

Every year the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) receives over 250 000 trade mark and design applications, with almost all of these being submitted online.

On 1 August 2022 the EUIPO will launch a new electronic form for EU trade marks (EUTMs) that will make filing applications more user-friendly and efficient.

In the context of the Strategic Plan 2025, under Digital Evolution Programme, the EUIPO has launched its first EUIPO Virtual assistant in EasyFiling: the EUIPO Chatbot.

Due to a planned Disaster Recovery exercise this weekend, the EUIPO Website, EUIPN portals, and Online Services may suffer sporadic outages on Saturday 22 January from 09h00 to 11h00 CET.

Searching for images of trade marks and designs over the years has always been a challenge. As part of the EUIPO’s digital transformation programmes (in particular, the Digital Evolution Programme), the Office has released its first in-house image search tool. It was made available via eSearch plus, on 29 November 2021.

Service to a number of the EUIPO platforms will be interrupted on 14 and 16 January to allow for maintenance. 

Due to maintenance work this weekend, Euipo website will not be available from Saturday 16 October at 08.00 until 08.30 CEST (estimated timings).
