2019 Status Report on IPR Infringement
The 2019 Status Report on IPR Infringement is the 2nd annual edition of the inaugural ‘synthesis report’ published in 2018. Like its predecessor, this report draws on the EUIPO and its partners’ research findings to illustrate the economic importance of intellectual property, its use by European companies, the economic costs of IPR infringement, the methods and channels by which these rights are infringed and the actions being taken in response to these infringements.
The report includes new research carried out by the OECD and the EPO and extra information on initiatives such as IP in Education as well as on the recent enforcement actions implemented on a national, European and global level. This report can be found here
