Flags fly half-mast in solidarity with the countries affected by the floods
As a gesture of solidarity with the victims of the recent floods, the Office has lowered the EU, the EUIPO and the Belgian flags.
Following the recent floods that have caused so many casualties and widespread destruction, the Belgian Government has declared Tuesday 20 July 2021 a day of national mourning.
As a sign of European solidarity and out of respect for the victims of these floods in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the EUIPO is flying half-mast the EU, the EUIPO and the Belgian flags from 8.00 to 20.00 local time on Tuesday 20.
