2021 EU Delegations IP Network Annual Meeting
The meeting of the EU Delegations IP Network is taking place virtually over 29 and 30 April.
The meeting is jointly organised by the EU Commission Directorate-General for Trade and the EUIPO’s European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights.
The objectives of the Network are to increase EU Delegations’ effectiveness in dealing with IP matters, and to build awareness and knowledge of IP within EU Delegations.
The Network is made up of the staff of EU Delegations in third countries who deal with IP issues.
This meeting is divided into three sessions. One session will be for the delegates based in the Americas, one for the delegates based in Africa, and one for the delegates based in Asia.
The agenda includes topics such as IP in Trade Policy, EU-funded projects, updates on the Observatory’s activities and tools (WGs, Enforcement Portal, studies), and updates on DG Trade reports (Counterfeit and Piracy Watch List, 3rd Country Report).
