EUIPO - Grants
At the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) we make direct financial contributions in the form of grants to third-party beneficiaries to support projects that serve our policies.
The beneficiaries of EUIPO's grants are selected via calls for proposals. They receive a subsidy for carrying out the activities set out in the call. Their results remain the property of the beneficiaries.
All our grant procedures are governed by the Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 July 2018 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union, repealing Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012.
Interested parties can apply by responding to the following calls for proposals:

Evaluation process
Once the deadline for submission is over, all applications received for a specific call will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee against the criteria published in the call for proposals, according to the selection process.
Notification of results
All applicants (successful and non-successful) will simultaneously receive a written notification on the outcome of their application within six months from the publication of the call. Where possible, reserve lists may be drawn up.
If the Office has approved your proposal, you will receive a grant agreement within three months from the notification of results. This grant agreement will be based on the ‘Model grant agreement' that was published in the call documents.
Successful candidates
Once the grant agreement has been signed by both parties, beneficiaries will find all the documentation needed for the management and implementation of their projects on the relevant call page.
