Intellectual property reaches into everyone's daily lives. A basic awareness and understanding of IP is therefore essential for today’s university students, who are the engineers, researchers, lawyers, politicians and managers of tomorrow.
IP Search Tools is part of the Intellectual Property Teaching Kit (IPTK). It has been designed for teachers of students with little prior knowledge of searching for information about intellectual property (IP) rights, in order to provide them with advanced teaching material about the Espacenet and European Patent Register databases, as well as about TMview, TMclass, Designview, eSearch Plus and EUIPO Registry.
In addition to the main presentations, IP Search Tools contains exercises on searching for patent information in Espacenet and the European Patent Register.
With the IP Teaching Kit you have at your disposal an extensive set of freely accessible, professional teaching materials which represents one of the most comprehensive IP teaching resources in the world.
